The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institutes Of Technology Jalandhar is well known for its academic excellence and is often considered as the 'first stop' for a large number of industries and other organizations for recruiting undergraduate and post-graduate students. The Training and placements Office (TPO) is run and managed by an efficient team of office staff & students and handles all aspects of placements at NIT Jalandhar. Right from contacting companies to managing all logistics of arranging for tests, pre-placement talks and conducting final interviews the TPO team provides it's best possible assistance to the recruiters. The hospitality and the functioning of TPO is applauded and well received by the visiting recruiters every year.

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), New Delhi. Now the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under the act of Parliament-2007. A large number of reputed Industrial houses in the country visit the Institution and select the final year students as Engineers/ Management Trainees.
I wish the upcoming placement program a great success and look forward to establishing relationships with new recruiters of our graduates while also strengthening the current partnerships. Together we can make a difference towards rejuvenating the Indian economy in the post Covid era.
